South Jakarta Police chief Sr. Comr. Imam Sugianto said the police have arrested three people related to the stabbing of a senior high school student at Shy Rooftop nightclub in Kemang, few weeks ago.
“We are now questioning them as suspects, trying to dig for more information,” Imam said on Tuesday as quoted by tempo.co.
When asked about the suspects' identities, Imam refused to provide an answer as he did not want to jeopardize the whole investigation. He hinted that the three individuals were among those who were involved in a fight with Raafi Agawinasya Benjamin, the student who was stabbed to death.
As of now, the police have questioned 47 witnesses, including a taxi driver. The assailant is thought to have been a passenger in this taxi.
Raafi was stabbed in his stomach during a birthday party at the nightclub a few weeks ago. The Pangudi Luhur senior high student was involved in a fight with another group of youngsters before the stabbing.
