Jakarta Police will be questioning the Indonesian SEA Games’ Organizing Committee (Inasoc) and the Gelora Bung Karno stadium management over the deaths of two soccer supporters.

“We want to know all the related parties’ perspectives concerning this incident,” Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Baharudin Djafar said Thursday as quoted by kompas.com.

He said the police would also examine any loopholes in the security system.

Two people were killed when they were allegedly trampled by the crowd after supporters rushed into the stadium after breaking through the gate at section 15 of the stadium.

The victims were identified as Reno Alvino, 21, a resident of Cililitan, East Jakarta, and Aprilianto Eko, a resident of Tangerang, Banten.
