New South Jakarta mayor installed

Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo has installed Anas Effendi as South Jakarta mayor on Friday, replacing Syahrul Effendi who will now serve as deputy governor. 

Anas previously served as South Jakarta deputy mayor. 

“We have faith in you. We fully believe that you will be able to carry out your duties and responsibilities as well as possible,” Fauzi Bowo said Friday as quoted by Kompas.com.
