No hidden agenda behind stabbing investigation: Police

Commenting on the recent allegations that police had plotted to name other people as suspects in connection to the recent stabbing to death of a student, Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Baharuddin Djafar said the police had solid grounds behind the naming of suspects.
“We named them as suspects simply because all evidence was pointing in that direction. We hid nothing in this case,” Djafar said Thursday as quoted by tempo.co.
He added that police would continue investigating the case even though it involved several important figures from the Pancasila Youth group.
“But if the people do see it that way, please come to us with clear evidence so we can provide a proper response,” he said.
Police have named three people suspects in the case, identified only as M, F and H, in relation to the death of a Pangudi Luhur High School student Raafi Aga Winasya Benjamin.
