Indonesia’s biggest cellphone service provider, PT Telkomsel, says it has donated 2,000 modems to high schools in Greater Jakarta and West Java.
“The modems will be used as a tool for the students to access the Internet,” Telkomsel vice president for Greater Jakarta and West Java Venusiana Papasi said on Tuesday as quoted by Tribunnews.com.
Telkomsel also installed wireless Internet connections at 134 spots in schools, universities and students centers in the region. (drs)
