National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia and Bank BPD Yogyakarta, a regional development bank, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday in relation to ticket purchases.

The MoU was signed in Yogyakarta by Garuda's senior general manager for eastern Indonesia services, Suranto, and Bank BPD Yogyakarta president director Supriyatno.

With the signing of the MoU, all Garuda customers and civil servants in Yogyakarta will now have better access to Garuda ticket sales, as transactions will be done through Bank BPD ATM and outlets, tribunnews.com reported.
