Student found dead in Mt. Papandayan camping area

A 19-year-old student was found dead in a camping area at Mt. Papandayan, Garut regency, West Java, on Sunday.
Ahmad Nur Hidayatulloh, a student of National University in Jakarta, died when he, along with 14 others, was camping at Pondok Saladah at the foot of the mountain.
His body was sent to the Cisurupan community health center, Cisurupan Police chief Com. Edet Hermana said as quoted by antaranews.com.
The health center claimed that Ahmad died from acute digestive problems and severe weather.
Mt. Papandayan was put on alert status a few months ago and activities in the area, including camping, have been banned.
