Ten male thieves robbed an Alfamart mini-market on Jl. WR Supratman in Ciputat, South Tangerang, on Thursday at about 2 a.m.
Muhammad Ma’mun, 31, an employee of the mini-market, which opened 24 hours a day, told police that the robbers suddenly entered the shop, tribunnews.com reported.
“Don’t make any noise, or I will kill you,” one of the men said, who was also armed with a machete, as quoted by Ma’mun.
They then tied up the other two employees, and ordered Ma’mun to open the safety box, where he kept the money.
The robbers made off with Rp 11 million in cash.
