President SBY on official visit to Cilacap

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is on the way to Cilacap, Central Java, for a two-day working visit that includes laying the cornerstone of Pertamina's Resid Fluid Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) project.

The President left from Gambir station in Central Jakarta on an "extraordinary" train that departed at 6:15 a.m on Wednesday, Antara reported.

Yudhoyono is scheduled to arrive at Cilacap at 12:30 p.m. and lay the cornerstone of Lomanis soccer field in Donan village, Cilacap regency, at 3:00 p.m.

The President will also inaugurate the operation of three steam power plants (PLTU): the 625-Megawatt 1 Banten-Suralaya plant in Cilegon, West Java; the 315-Megawatt Banten Unit 1 in Tangerang, Banten; and the 66-Megawatt Tanjung Jati B Expansion Unit 3 in Jepara, Central Java.

Yudhoyono will be accompanied by Coordinating Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa, State Secretary Sudi Silalahi and State-Owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan.

First Lady Ani Yudhoyono is under treatment at RSPAD Army Hospital in Central Jakarta for an illness and did not accompany her husband.
