Balinese man dies of heart attack on New Year’s Eve

A man died of a heart attack caused by shock when firecrackers were set off near his house in Gianyar, Bali, during New Year’s Eve.
The victim, I Wayan Wita, 60, who worked as a cleaner at Lebih Beach, had a history of heart disease and his heart attack was sudden, his neighbor, I Nyoman Col, said Sunday as quoted by antaranews.com.
Nyoman said that his nephew, I Wayan Derawan, 16, had to be hospitalized when his fingers sustained wounds after trying to ignite the firecrackers.
Another teenager was also rushed to Sanglah General Hospital in Denpasar when he was injured by firecrackers.
