Activist, KPU active members apply for KPU

Prominent election activist Hadar Nafiz Gumay of the Center of Electoral Reform (Cetro) has submitted application to be a member of the General Elections Commission (KPU).
Among those who filed applications on Wednesday were also KPU active members Saut Hamonangan Sirait and I Gusti Putu Artha.
According to Siti Zuhro, a member of the government’s committee tasked to handle the selection processes of the KPU and Bawaslu members, as of Tuesday evening, the committee had received 203 applicants for KPU members and 84 for the Bawaslu.
The committee will stop accepting applications on Friday and announce the list of applicants who pass administrative requirements on Jan. 10
