The Tangerang State Court will host a trial process for seven Bima terrorist suspects starting today.

One of the defendants, Mustakim Abdullah, was not detained by the police as he was still underage. The rest of the defendants, namely Ustadz Abrory M Ali alias Maskadov, Sa’ban , Rahman alias Umar Sa’ban bin Abdurrahman, Rahmat Ibnu Umar alias Rahmat bin Effendi, Rahmat Hidayat and Asrak alias Tauhid are now in police custody.

Prosecutor Riyadi said that these defendants would be tried by three different courts simultaneously.

The police had arrested the defendants due to finding homemade bombs inside the Umar Bin Khattab Islamic traditional school in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara and due to the killing of a member of the police early last year.
