The number of people suing Starlight Management Indonesia, the promoter of a canceled concert by Korean band Code Name Blue (CNBlue), to force the company to reimburse their ticket money has reached 90 people, from 23 earlier.
“As of Thursday, the number of people in the class action against Starlight has reached 90, claiming more than Rp 159 million (US$17,533) in losses,” the spokesman of the ticket buyers, Putri Indah PS, said on Thursday at the Jakarta Police headquarters.
Along with other ticket buyers, Putri was summoned by the police to be questioned regarding the chronology of the case.
The promoter was reported for allegedly failing to return ticket money and for directing fans to a false address for reimbursement after it failed to meet the minimum target of 80 percent ticket sales as required by the CNBlue music management.
”We just found out that ticket buyers were not only from Indonesia but also countries like Japan, Australia and Singapore. Some of them have yet to receive a refund,” Putri said. (iwa/dic)
