Shinta: Polygamy OK ... with conditions

JAKARTA: Singer Shinta Dewi, popularly known as Tata “Mahadewi” from the duo Mahadewi, says she will accept it if her husband decides to take another wife.

“If it is good then go ahead and marry again; it’s better than having an affair behind my back. I would allow polygamy,” she said in Jakarta on Saturday as quoted by kompas.com.

Shinta added that there were several conditions her husband needed to fulfill should he want to have multiple wives.

“For instance, a widow. As long as that woman is not younger than me, not more voluptuous than me, as long as he cares. It is having an affair — that is bad,” she said.
