L'Arc en Ciel concert tickets to go on sale Saturday

Box offices for Japanese rock band L’Arc en Ciel’s upcoming concert will open on Jan. 28, with ticket prices ranging between Rp 500,000 (US$50) and Rp 1.2 million.
The ticket can be purchased on www.rajakarcis.com and at Rajakarcis’s office on Jl. Dr. Saharjo No. 2 in Manggarai, South Jakarta.
The group’s first ever Jakarta concert will be held on May 2 at the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex’s Field D.
A total of 7,000 tickets will be divided into three categories: Regular festival (Rp 500,000), premium festival (Rp 850,000) and VIP (Rp. 1.2 million).
“We will only sell less than 1,000 VIP tickets,” Peter Harjani from Marygops Studios, the organizer of the concert told The Jakarta Post on Thursday.
The VIP package will include early entry and original merchandise of L’Arc en Ciel.
“The ticket will be different from other classes. It can be kept as a souvenir from the concert,” Peter said.
The band, consisting of Hyde (Vocals), Ken (Guitar), Tetsuya (Bass), and Yukihiro (Drums) celebrated its 20th anniversary in May last year, with a two-night performance titled “20th L’Anniversary LIVE” at Tokyo’s Ajinomoto Stadium to 10,000 fans.
The “monster band” from Japan, has sold a total of 40 million records and played before 3 million people throughout their career. (mtq)
