Anwar Ibrahim to deliver lectures in Bandung, Jakarta

Former Malaysian deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim, who frequently visits Indonesia, will have another round of visits to the country on Sunday, to give cultural lectures in Bandung, West Java, and Jakarta.

“The brief visit will end on Jan. 31. He will return directly to Malaysia via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport,” Anwar Ibrahim’s arrival media coordinator Abrar Din Ilyas said as quoted by kompas.com.

He said that Anwar would be arriving at the Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The Malaysian politician would be speaking about “Leadership in Economic and Political Dynamics” at the Bandung Institute of Technology and at Taman Ismail Marzuki in Central Jakarta. (awd/mtq)
