Father passes away while Dhani in KL

JAKARTA: Musician Ahmad Dhani’s father passed away on Wednesday morning.

The 39-year-old singer and owner of music management company Republik Cinta was on a business trip to Malaysia when his father, Eddy Abdul Manaf, passed away, Dhani’s sister Dian said.

“Dhani is on his way back from Malaysia,” she told kapanlagi.com on Wednesday.

Dian said they were waiting for Dhani to return before holding the funeral.

Eddy was 77 years old. He had suffered a stroke and was being monitored by doctors.
