JAKARTA: The daughter of singer Nia Daniati has been reported to the police for allegedly stealing four diamonds worth Rp 700 million (US$77,908).
Rina Rianty Huzaemah reported the first daughter of Nia Daniati, Olivia Nathania, to the South Jakarta Police, saying the 20-year-old ran away with her jewelry.
“Nia said she would be responsible for returning items that were borrowed by Olivia, but until Sunday the jewelry has not been returned,” Rina told detikhot.com on Wednesday
Rina, who runs a jewelry business, said the police report was a last resort after failing to get ahold of Olive to get her jewelry back.
The 47-year-old veteran balladeer has not commented on the case.
