Couple tight-lipped on marriage rumors

JAKARTA: Host Ferry Maryadi and partner Deswita Maharina seem to be keeping their upcoming marriage to themselves.

The couple has refused to comment on reports that they will tie the knot this week.

Detikhot.com reported on Wednesday night that Ferry ran away from journalists seeking confirmation of his marriage plans. Deswita was also tightlipped when the media spoke to her the day before.

The news site reported Ferry would marry his hosting partner Deswita on Feb. 3, quoting the head of the Tebet Religious Affairs Office in South Jakarta.

Ferry and Deswita have been dating for a number of years. Deswita was blamed for Ferry’s separation from his now ex-wife in 2009.
