Anthrax, American thrash metal band, is scheduled to perform in Jakarta next March after previously cancelling their Indonesia and Japan tours.

"We had to postpone the concert that had been scheduled for Dec. 31 last year to March 31 due to the illness of Bello and Benante's parents. They will be performing at Carnival Beach Ancol, Jakarta," Ditter, the concert’s media and promotion manager from Blade ID, said on Tuesday.

The band, which was formed in 1981, consists of Scott Ian (guitar), Charlie Benante (drums), Frank Bello (bass), Joey Belladonna (vocals), and Rob Caggiano (guitar).

"Anthrax's management said that they can't wait to erase the disappointment [of delaying the concert] from last year. They will give their best shot," Ditter said as quoted by tempo.co..

Blade ID will sell two classes tickets to the concert at Rp.400,000 (US$44.8) and Rp.500,000.

"Blade ID will also bring HellYeah [to the concert] as special guest," Ditter added. (aml)
