B2ST to stage Jakarta concert in March

Korean pop fans in Jakarta will soon get to see one of the most popular boybands B2ST as Indonesian organizer Marygops Studios announced on Wednesday on its official website that the band will perform in Jakarta on March 17 in Jitec Mangga Dua.

The band recently kicked off its world tour, titled The Beautiful Show, on Feb. 4 in Seoul Olympic Park which garnered an audience of around 12,000 fans.

The six-member band consisting of Yoon Doo-joon, Jang Hyun-seung, Yong Jun-hyung, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang and Son Dong-woon will perform in 17 cities in 12 countries in Asia, Europe, North and South America during its world tour.

“From surveys that we conducted through twitter, the most popular request we received were from fans asking us to have B2ST perform in Jakarta; and thus persuading us to finally bring B2ST here,” said Peter Harjani, project and creative director of Marygops Studios.

Tickets will go on sale on Feb. 11 from www.rajakarcis.com and www.ticket.com. The tickets will be divided into five categories:  Bronze which will sell at Rp 500,000 (US$56), Silver (Rp 700,000), Festival (Rp 850,000), Gold (Rp 1,250,000) and Diamond (Rp 1,750,000).

B2ST won South Korea’s Song of the Year award for their song Fiction at the KBS Music Festival in December last year and reached second in the Japanese top music chart Oricon after releasing their Japanese debut in February 2011. (nvn)
