DENPASAR: The city administration on Tuesday signed an agreement with the Bali Development Bank (BPD) that will enable residents to pay taxes through the bank’s ATM network.

“The service will cover hotel, restaurant, entertainment and groundwater taxes. In the future, we hope that all taxes can be paid through similar online systems,” city revenue agency head IB Subrata said.

Previously, taxpayers had to visit the agency’s office to pay taxes.

“We will continue improving our services to taxpayers,” he said.
