The Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) investigators have completed the dossier on the Bank Indonesia (BI) vote-buying scandal which implicates Nunun Nurbaeti, and will submit the documents to KPK’s prosecutors today.

Nunun, the wife of Justice and Prosperous Party (PKS) lawmaker and former National Police deputy chief Comr. Gen. (ret.) Adang Daradjatun, is expected to go on trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor) in the near future.

“Based on the information that I received, there is a big chance the second phase of Nunun's case submission will be done tomorrow [today],” said KPK’s spokesperson Johan Budi on Tuesday.

Nunun allegedly acted as a go-between in the case in which 480 traveler’s checks worth Rp 24 billion (US$2.66 million) were distributed to 33 House of Representatives’ lawmakers overseeing finance and BI in return for votes for Miranda Swaray Goeltom in the BI senior deputy governor election in 2004.
