Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa (left) submits Indonesia’s instrument of ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at the UN Headquarters in New York on Monday. They agreed to use the momentum to urge other countries to ratify the treaty. Eight Annex II states — China, Egypt, Iran, Israel, the United States, India, North Korea and Pakistan — have not ratified the treaty.
