In the name of love

For all the shrugging and hand-wringing about Valentine’s Day’s clichés, love is still in the air.
Gifts, on any given day, are just expressions. It is the thought — the relentless ardor, which really matters.
Two people break the boundaries to be together. Some are blessed to find love at first sight while the unlucky ones end up with heartbreaks, until the right ones come along.
Either way, relationships are always a work in progress.
“I was sensitive, ashamed and not confident, but he tried his best to show people that we had every right to be together,” actress and singer Ussy Sulistiawaty praised her newly-wedded husband, Andhika Pratama.
The two tied the knot last month after dating for five years.
For emcee Fenita Jayanti, it’s the memorable surprises on their special dates — and the kiss, which glues her and husband Arie Untung closer.
“He always kisses my forehead before bedtime. If he gets home late, he will still kiss me even if I am already asleep.” — JP
