Tourist bus crashes, kills one in Majalengka

MAJALENGKA: Less than two days after a deadly pileup involving a bus killed 14 in Puncak, West Java, another tourist bus rammed into several vehicles, including a horse-driven cart in Majalengka, West Java, on Sunday morning, claiming one life and leaving at least 16 injured.
Of the injured, four were deemed severe, Antara reported.
Majalengka Traffic Police chief Adj. Comr. Maman said that the accident took place at 11:20 a.m. on Jl. Ciputis, Kadipaten, Majalengka.
Maman said that the bus, traveling at high speed from Bandung heading for Cirebon, lost control and collided with several cars and motorcycles before eventually hitting the cart. The victims were taken to Cideres Hospital, Maman said.
