Pre-flight check: An instructor and students from the Merpati Pilot School inspect a Cessna 172 aircraft at the Trunojoyo airstrip in Sumenep on Madura Island, East Java, on Tuesday. The Sumenep regency administration planned to keep developing the airstrip, which started operation in 2009, by lengthening the runway to 1.25 kilometers. (JP/Indra Harsaputra)
