A thief with a good sense of humor

DENPASAR, Bali: A thief who failed to steal Rp 100 million in cash from a 3-ton safe deposit box in a cooperative office on Jl. Diponegoro at the early hours of Thursday just took it easy.
Police are still in the dark about the identity of the perpetrator or the number of people involved, but said that it was the third time criminals had broken into the office.
Apparently, the safe deposit box was just too sturdy and too heavy to break open, let alone to take away. Obviously very calm, the crook took time and scrawled his desperation on the office walls.
“I give up boss, the box is just too heavy. I’m too hungry to keep trying,” the scribble reads.
The thief also criticized the cooperative’s management. “A thief like me is an ordinary human, too. I’m tired. You’re bloody thrifty, leaving nothing worth stealing here.”
But he was afraid of being caught, though. So he wrote: “Pak, please don’t file a report with the police, okay? I swear I didn’t steal anything from here. Exhaustion is all I have got. I swear I will never come back.”
Denpasar police chief detective Adjt. Comr. Made Dayendra told detik.com that the authorities would find out if the thief was the one who broke into the same building twice before.
