A man crafts unique lamp shades from garbage “deposited” at the Karya Peduli Garbage Bank in Semper Barat, North Jakarta, on Wednesday. The trash bank, started by a local neighborhood head, currently makes several thousand dollars a month and has hundreds of members, who give the bank waste and receive money and credit in exchange.
