Tribunnews.comTribunnews.comAs the dust settles at Kerobokan Penitentiary in Denpasar, Bali, police and military personnel appear to have withdrawn from the prison compound on Friday morning.

A few dozen police officers remain on duty at the main gate to check visitors.

Crime-scene tape remains around the perimeter of the damaged prison building, which normally houses more than 1,000 inmates.

A National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) representative, Yosep Adi Prasetyo, was seen among the police officers.

Yosep said the commission would help mediate talks between the inmates, prison management and the police.
