JAKARTA: Last year’s best local player, Mario Wuysang, had another big game against the Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers on Saturday in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) at Mahaka Square in Jakarta.

After scoring 23 points last month against the Slingers, Mario scored 21 points on Saturday afternoon to lead the Indonesia Warriors in a win over the Slingers by a finish of 65-57.

Steven Thomas also came up big for the Warriors by recording his seventh double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, as reported by www.aseanbasketballleague.com.

Donald Little finished with 20 points, while Louis Graham added 15 points for the Slingers. Graham struggled with his shots, making only seven field goals from 25 tries.

The Warriors record is now four wins and four losses. They will travel to Manila as they try to redeem themselves against the San Miguel Beermen after losing at home 61-77 to the Beermen last weekend. The Singapore Slingers will have a 10-day break before trying to snap their four game losing streak against the Saigon Heat at home.
