Wanted: Inactive Lampung regent

The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) confirmed on Friday that the suspended East Lampung Regent Satono is on a wanted list after failing to show up twice before prosecutors.
Chief prosecutor Basrief Arief said Satono had officially been labeled a fugitive.
“We have summoned him twice and he hasn’t showed up. Therefore, we have put him on the wanted list. We have asked the police to help us find him,” he said.
Basrief had said his team would send Satono to jail after the Supreme Court sentenced the convicted regent to 15 years in prison and a Rp 500 million fine in late March this year.
Satono was found guilty of misusing Rp 119 billion (US$13.45 million) of the regency budget.
