IMO view: The corruption habit

Every human tends to be greedy, no matter whether they are rich or poor, and that’s even valid for myself.
We can see in many cases that someone who we already think already has everything is involved in corrupt behavior.
It makes me concerned when some members of the House of Representatives are suspected of corrupt actions.
The newest concerns are center on some members’ political parties being investigated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Don’t they realize the impact this has on their constituents, many of whom have already placed their faith in them and voted for them. We can also see corrupt habits at lower levels.
Many corruption cases are found in provinces, regencies, districts and even lower.
Is it a habit of Indonesians? How we can change it? Don’t ever blame it on the tendency to be greedy as a basic human instinct, because we have God and we have control over ourselves.
Don’t we realize that if we lose control, we will lose our credibility and reputation? People will remind us that we are a greedy people.
When the state money is stolen, many people suffer because many require subsidies. As we know, because of the loss of state funds, vital subsidies have been decreased such for electricity, fuel, health, infrastructure and education.
We have to cut this trickle down effect of corruption. How to do that? Remember what AA Gym said? Start from now, start from the little things and start from ourselves.
