Local rock band Netral has launched its eleventh album, titled Unity, shrugging off rumors that it members would split after a three-year hiatus.
“We have been waiting for three years to launch this album. We miss our fans,” founder of the band Bagus said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
He was speaking at the album’s launch at the Rolling Stone Café on Jl. Ampera, South Jakarta.
The band also unveiled its newest band logo, on the album’s cover: a triangle, a circle and a square fused together, signifying the harmonious relations between its members.
The band also includes Bagus, drummer Eno Gitara Ryanto and guitarist Christopher ‘Coki’ Bollemeyer.
In 2009, they released a song titled Garuda di Dadaku (Eagle on My Chest) taken from the movie of the same title.
The lyrics of the song were edited and renamed KPK di Dadaku (KPK on My Chest) in support of the Corruption Eradication Commission. (asa)
