1 dies in traffic accident in Bandung

A 30 year old man identified as Badrudin of Lembang, West Bandung regency, West Java, died after being run over by a bus on Jl. Setiabudhi, Bandung, on Thursday morning.

A traffic police officer with the Bandung Police, Santana, said that according to eyewitnesses, Badrudin was riding a scooter and tried to overtake a tourist bus when another bus came from the opposite direction.

“The victim fell from his scooter and was run over by one of the buses. The police are still investigating the accident,” he said at the scene.

The victim’s body has been sent to the Hasan Sadikin hospital, tempo.co reported. (swd)
