The trouble with Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa is that he has probably spent too much of time traveling abroad to really understand what’s going on in his own country.
On Monday, he said the government has done enough to protect the interests of Indonesia’s religious minorities.

What’s the problem? He’s just doing his job, improving the country’s image abroad. It’s the other ministers’ job to prove that all the nice things that he says about the country to foreign audiences are true.
