Scientists here have found a way to help cage the world's deadliest bird flu virus.
They have developed a comprehensive test kit which can detect all existing strains of the H5N1 virus within two hours.
The bird flu virus kills six in 10 infected people and usually spreads from infected chickens to people.
The scientists said their work will help doctors treat infected patients more quickly and limit the impact of an outbreak.
