Bombing at seminary kills 6 in southwest Pakistan
Police say a bomb blast outside a seminary has killed at least six people in southwestern Pakistan.
Senior police official Ghulam Mohammed says more than 30 people were also wounded in Thursday's attack in Quetta, which is the capital of the impoverished Baluchistan province.
No one immediately claimed responsibility. Khan says at the time of the explosion hundreds of students were gathered inside the Jamia Islamia Maftah-ul-Uloom seminary.
Baluchistan borders Afghanistan to the west and is believed to be a hiding place for Taliban and Pakistani militants.
