5.3-magnitude quake jolts Lampung

An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale struck the Sunda Strait at 12:59 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency’s (BMKG) website, the epicenter was situated at 5.95 degrees south latitude and 105.33 east longitude or 53 kilometers southeast of Pesawaran, Lampung, at a depth of 180 kilometers.

There are no immediate reports any casualties or damages.
