Guess what?: Anang and Ashanty want children

JAKARTA: Famed songwriter and producer Anang Hermansyah and his wife, singer Ashanty Siddik, say they are trying for and looking forward to having their own child.

Though the two only recently got married, Anang admitted that he had heard rumors than he and Ashanty were delaying childbearing.

“To me, [having a baby] would be a gift. But it all comes back to me and my wife’s readiness. If we are ready, [God] will give us one ... Many of our friends have not gotten [a baby] because they are not ready,” said Anang as quoted by kapanlagi.com.

He added, “We are trying [to have a baby] and we are not delaying. I realize that in time I get older, not younger.
I do not want to not be able to carry my baby. I would like to drop him or her off at school just as I did with [my older children] Aurel and Azriel.”
