KPK arrests Nazaruddin’s wife at her home
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) spokesman Johan Budi has announced that KPK officials have arrested the wife of graft convict Muhammad Nazaruddin, Neneng Sri Wahyuni, at her residence in Pejaten, South Jakarta.
“We arrested Neneng in her house in Pejaten,” Johan said on Wednesday as quoted by kompas.com.
Along with her husband, Neneng was labeled as a fugitive by the National Police headquarters and the KPK last year. The police had also asked for the assistance of Interpol through their red notice mechanism.
Neneng is alleged to have played a significant role in corruption centered on the National Education Ministry’s construction projects. (dic)
