The Indonesian version of video sharing website YouTube was officially launched on Thursday.
Internet users can now access the site at youtube.co.id.
Representatives of Google, which owns YouTube, hopes that this local domain can make it easier for Indonesian users to find the videos they want.
Several local businesses have begun partnerships with YouTube, including media organizations such as Kompas TV and music industry groups like Musica Studios and Aquarius Musikindo, kompas.com reported. (png/iwa)
