Hary Tanoesoedibjo, the CEO of PT Bhakti Investama, arrived at the Corruption Eradication (KPK) office in Jakarta at 1:48 p.m. on Friday, in relation to a bribery case in which his company has been implicated.

“He [Hary] voluntarily came to the KPK to clarify the case,” Hary’s lawyer, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, told reporters on Friday.

Hary was accompanied by the chief editors of several media houses he owns under the MNC Group, including Arief Suditomo of RCTI, Ray Wijaya of MNCTV and Harya Sinulingga of Global TV.

On Wednesday, Hary ignored a KPK summons for questioning as a witness in the bribery case.

He instead held a press conference at his office to announce that he would go to the KPK on Friday as an act of goodwill.
