K-Pop artist Jo Sung-Hyun, better known as Eru (read: Iru), expressed his admiration for Indonesian actress Atiqah Hasiholan, saying that she was “really gorgeous”.

During his visit to The Jakarta Post on Wednesday, Eru shared his thoughts on starring in the Indonesian movie Hello Goodbye, in which Atiqah is also a cast.

“It was wonderful joining this project. I couldn’t imagine being involved in this movie because I’ve never filmed a movie before and haven’t learnt acting,” he said.

Eru added that Atiqah had greatly helped him to deliver his best performance as an actor.

“Atiqah was [my] acting coach. She taught me everything,” the 28-year-old ballad singer said, “She’s really gorgeous, I like her personality. As an actress, she is perfect. She can act well, sing well. She can do everything.”

“But I know she already has a boyfriend,” Eru added, laughing.

Eru played a small part as a street singer in the movie, which was shot in Indonesia and Busan, South Korea.

The movie marked his comeback in the entertainment industry after finishing his mandatory military service in 2010.

Eru’s hit, “Black Glasses”, was chosen as one of the movie’s soundtracks.

The movie will be released in Indonesia in November.
