The Foreign Ministry has issued a travel warning against Indonesians going to Syria due to escalating tensions in the Middle-Eastern country that have killed hundreds.
“The Foreign Ministry is advising anybody intending to visit Syria to review their plans and consider the situation in the country, which is not conducive,” the ministry said in a statement made available on Tuesday.
The ministry said the government was repatriating Indonesians from Syria.
