Jakarta residents Agustinus Dawarja and Ngurah Anditya filed a lawsuit against Governor Fauzi Bowo at the Central Jakarta District Court on Tuesday, saying that the governor had neglected Jakarta’s traffic problems during his five-year tenure as the capital’s top official.
The class-action lawsuit also challenges President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, whom the two citizens described as “responsible for Jakarta’s chronic traffic problems”.
Your comments:
Get rid of medium-sized buses — utilize larger buses and require them to always use the far left lane at all times and only stop at designated stop points — not stopping whenever they feel like it.
As for motorbikes — new buyers should show proof of a valid driver’s license and NPWP. Increasing the annual registration tax would also be a good idea.
And for private vehicles — implement a higher registration or road tax, like Singapore.
The list could go on, but are the ideas above actual worth the keystrokes it took to write them?

I would suggest they sue the National Police and the Environment Ministry over their negligent rulings against the illegal use of noisy exhausts on motorbikes.
That would be more productive than filing a lawsuit over traffic.
