Face the music: President Director of PT. Onamba Indonesia, Shiokawa Toshio, is leaving the Corruption Eradication Commission building after a questioning session regarding an alleged bribe to ad hoc Industrial Relations Court judge Imas Dianasari. Imas was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment by the Bandung Corruption Court on April 1 for accepting Rp 352 million (US$38,000) to favor Onamba in a dispute with its labor union. Imas was also convicted for accepting Rp 200 million to influence the Supreme Court when hearing the company’s appeal. (JP/Ricky Yudhistira)
