Four victorious at T20

Victories for Senayan, Emerio, Ceylon and Gandhi Perkasa and two superb centuries were the highlights of the fourth week of the Apple Coal JCA T20 League 2011-2012 over the weekend.
In the morning game at Cibubur, Senayan Lions bludgeoned Gandhi Satria by a massive 168 runs with big man Faisal Hashimi making highest T20 individual score of 138 runs and in the process helping Senayan record the highest T20 team score of 295/4 in 20 overs. Amar Kapadi was unfortunate not to complete his century and he remained unbeaten on 93 runs. Gandhi Satria were all out for 127 runs with Aijaz Matoo picking up 3 wickets.
In the afternoon game at the same venue, Emerio Dragons beat Challenger Super Kings by 44 runs to remain unbeaten in Group B, along with Senayan. Put in to bat first, Emerio made 132/6, with David Surjit making 27 runs. Satinder Minhas took 2 wickets. In reply, Challengers were tottering at 32/5 in 10 overs, before being restricted to 88/9 in 20 overs. Harish took 3 wickets.
In the morning game of Group A matches at Gandhi grounds, Ceylon Warriors won a close game against TKCC Royals by 22 runs. Batting first, Ceylon made 191/6 with their run machine Geoff Polonnowita making 67 runs and Faheem Bhai making 37 runs. TKCC went down fighting and made 170/5 in 20 overs, with Prabhukaliraj making a valiant unbeaten 100. Faheem and Dihan picked up 2 wickets each.
In the second Group A match, home team Gandhi Perkasa won against PCI Garudas by 6 wickets. PCI made 148/7 in 20 overs, with Ramdoni scoring 41 runs. Priyank Chaturvedi took 3 wickets. Gandhi reached the victory target in 13 overs losing 4 wickets. Mohit made 80 not out and Gaurav Pathak made 43 runs.
“From Group B, Senayan and Emerio have qualified for the semifinals. Group A is still open with Menara, APC and Ceylon all tied at 12 points each”, said JCA spokesperson Deepak Khullar.
