A- A A+

Paper Edition | Page: 8

After worsening riots in the country’s history, things are going from bad to worse in Myanmar. The UN, international community and human rights organizations are viewing everything with blind eyes.

Thousands of Muslims migrated to Bangladesh when angry mobs torched villages and killed several people. Security forces have failed to provide security and stop atrocities against the country’s minority-Muslim population.

The media has broadcast horrible pictures of burning villages and charred bodies.

Now, according to recent news, Bangladesh has prevented thousands of people from entering its territory.

According to media news, Bangladeshi security forces have sent back thousands of people who were trying to enter Bangladesh on small boats and ships.

After the recent riots, most people have lost everything and have nothing to feed their families. Myanmar’s new democratic government is also remaining silent and doing nothing to provide security to the country’s Muslim-minority population.
