Vidi Aldiano to take summer class in the US

Singer Vidi Aldiano is thrilled about his plan to attend a summer music camp in the United States later this month. The course, he said, was expected to step up his performance.

“I will take a two-month course. Insyaallah [God willing], from July until late August, I will be in the US for the summer program, with music as a study subject,” he said in Jakarta on Wednesday as quoted by kapanlagi.com.

“I have been longing to go there since I was in elementary school,” he added.

Moreover, Vidi is prepared to have an interesting experience there given that he will be on his own while he fasts during Ramadhan (the Islamic fasting month), which will start on July 20.

”Two months is not a long time, but I feel it will be a challenge spending Ramadhan and Lebaran [Idul Fitri] there alone. No family, no friends, no one I know,” said the 22-year-old singer.

Besides gaining more knowledge, Vidi is looking forward to making new friends.

“I will get knowledge, as well as networks. This will increase my experience.” (yps/iwa)
